Overview
MIT’s IDE (Initiative on the Digital Economy) is a team of visionary, internationally recognized thought leaders and researchers examining how people and businesses work, interact, and will ultimately prosper in a time of rapid digital transformation.
In 2020 they embarked on a major website update in order to migrate their existing site from Drupal onto the more easily managed WordPress. During that project I acted as the Creative Director and brand manager for the IDE team, ensuring the work met their needs in a scalable, brand-aligned way.
Shortly after the revamped site went live, we began working on some graphic design projects together including: creating multiple special reports, templating for their PPT presentations and their digital newsletters, producing some podcast art, and logos for a few of their annual conferences & events.
In 2021, we created a logo for the SMS (Social Media Summit) and accompanying graphics for multiple platforms (including the website, social media accounts, and email communications.)
In 2022, the CMO Summit logo came together over the course of a few days! And was later fleshed out to guide the visual tone of the award-winning conference report we produced for them.
At the end of 2022/beginning of 2023 we put together an award-winning 2022 annual report.
In early 2025 we came together one more time to make a little tweak to the podcast artwork as they were preparing to launch a second season.
